Description Functional description  The 3-phase and 1-/2-stage EMC filters MEF 3/1-3/2 are used in the range 0.1...30 MHz and dampen interferences found in cables from the mains, supply units and control systems. They are suitable for TN-C- and IT mains. The best results are obtained with short connection cables (suggestion: earth connection < 10 cm) of the largest possible cross-section. The EMC filters are bi-directional. They reduce symmetrical and asymmetrical interferences that often occur with frequency converters and switch mode power supplies.
